Great news! Let me know if you are looking for beta testers. I’m a software engineer for the same company that makes the Droid and would be glad to test anything out. (I’m not part of any team that created or supports the Droid)
Any news for the DROID? Most links don’t work on TSL.mobi due to lack of windows media support (.asc etc). Will you filter out those links that won’t play on the DROID?
So far Greg has put in about 20 hours on the TSL app for DROID. He has the list working on his phone – it should be very similar to our iPhone App. Greg says there are more features that we will be able to utilize via the DROID platform. We are currently looking for the SW for a DROID compatible media player — capable of streaming both wma & mp3. Let me know if you know of a developer who can help us.
OK I will keep looking for wma/mp3 support to help you guys out. I’ve searched this out previously though and have only found other people wondering if someone will come up with support for this. I haven’t seen a thread yet with someone saying “I’m working on this” or “coming soon” etc.
I guess it’d be good if TSL’s app could “know” what you have support for and display only those shows that are compatible with your DROID. I’ve not done any development for android though so I don’t know if this is easy/feasible.
Thanks for working so hard and fast on this. With nearly a million new DROID owners, I’m sure this will get some great usage. I’ll be sure to leave some good comments for you at the market.
