TSL sampled over 1.2 million listeners during the first 6 months of 2012 to produce the Power 50 Report – the 50 most influential talk show hosts on the Internet and on mobile devices. We are proud to report that Rush Limbaugh is #1, Michael Savage #2 and Laura Ingraham #3. These are the most listened to talk show hosts in the world. All data collected to produce this report came from our server via the TalkStreamLive.com website, Show Stopper, The List, Impulse gadgets and mobile iPhone app. The Power 50 includes the big personalities talk show fans would expect as well as some new media rising stars. The conclusions are our own and not guaranteed to be accurate.

Great List! I see Savage is #2 again. Thanks for this research and service. It appears Talk Stream Live is quick becoming the authority of streaming talk radio. Keep it up.

No matter what you think of him, no list is complete without mentioning Alex Jones. He is the template for what Glenn Beck is doing now. Those lost in the fake left/right paradigm keep him off of the list.
17 Alex Jones
Alex Jones is the only one mentioning on this list. With the exception of
noory, they are all just spouting manufactured left\right talking points. I honestly believe AJ actually commands a higher market share than 17.
You are only surveying via your own server so “not guaranteed to be accurate” is quite an understatement.

Whatever happened to Philly RINO & Obama sycophant extraordinaire Michael Smerconish? To hear John Batchelor, Talkers Magazine, & The Smerc himself he is the next great thing. I thought he was supposed to rocket to the top after going over to the dark side & endorsing Barack Obama in 2008. I guess Smerc radio just doesn’t sell & not just in Philly.

Glad to see Chris Plante make the top 50. Remarkable since he does a local show in Washington, DC. He deserves to be nationally syndicated. But until then, thank goodness for Al Gore’s amazing internet!
I suppose my show will never be in the top 50 because it runs just on Friday night, but I’m always in the top 20. I appreciate you running the NightBreed Show from Jackalope radio though. I am honored.

Tammy Bruce ranked over Sean Hannity & Levin??? Get real….
Only in neocon fantasy land is this list accurate. Dream on, traitors. Alex Jones is a thousand times more popular than most of the people at the top of this fraudulent list.
Michael Savage no longer even has a show and so should be removed from the list.
